Description
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
NOTE: Due to the front axle spindle and rear axle nut often being overtightened during PDI at dealers, it is recommended to undo them first, in the workshop, using a socket and bar, rather than this trail hand tool.
Then re-tighten them HAND TIGHT using the new tool. This way, if you do need to remove a wheel on the trail, it will be possible to undo them by hand pressure again.
You can use your boot/foot to put pressure on the spanner when tightening, or undoing, the rear 27mm axle nut, but DO NOT use the 19mm hexagon extension piece as extra leverage, use your pressure on the flat section of the spanner.
The reason the 19mm hexagon extension is so long, is to allow it to protrude into the front axle, and the spanner handle to still rotate and clear the front fender.
IT IS NOT FOR EXTRA LEVERAGE, AND TO DO SO MAY BEND THE STEEL HANDLE.
